Overview

R.’s nights have been better, and he is steadily working through his letters with Herr Seidl. The children spend morning and afternoon on the ice, cheerful and well, while the evening is again given to Gfrorer, whose writing continues to hold their attention.

Friday, February 12:

Thank goodness R. has been having better nights for some time now. He works through his correspondence every day with Herr Seidl. The children on the ice morning and afternoon, all lively and in good health, thank goodness!

We read Gfrörer in the evening, still with great interest.
