Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of June 14, 1873

Overview

The day is occupied by letters, the children, and a flooding cloudburst that disrupts Bayreuth, while visitors come and go. The opera work reaches its end with Rheingold, marking a ceremonial close to a difficult stretch.
