Saturday, January 18:
Packed! Visited Marie Schl. once again, to thank her for her kindness. Left at 2 o’clock (saw Dohm and Bucher again yesterday; the former accompanies us to the railroad station). At 8 o’clock in Hamburg, met by a considerable number of cheering people. Great weariness, making us irritable.
