Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of December 28, 1872

Overview

R. sleeps better, though he remains gloomy, and I write to Marie M. while the weather stays fine enough for an afternoon walk with Lusch. The day is quiet and restorative, with little happening beyond shared air and scenery. In the evening we delight in Grimm’s writings on German mythology and language, which give us both genuine pleasure.
