Cosima's Diaries

Diary Entry of April 22, 1869

Overview

A beautiful spring day is darkened by Loldi's illness and continued uncertainty over Cosima's mother, though Claire reports slight improvement. Richard works a little while Cosima tends the invalid and Loulou and writes out a letter to Loulou's father. Frederick's letters fill the evening, and news arrives of Hans giving a concert for the Pope with Liszt present.
