The Brown Book

Annals for 1863

Overview

Concert journeys take Wagner through Russia and several German and Austrian cities, bringing income but little lasting security. The annals also record his Penzing household, abandoned Tristan plans, growing debts, and a significant November visit to the Bülows in Berlin.
